Jordan | Hollins Senior Session

I had so much fun with Jordan at her senior session a few weeks ago! Jordan is one of those people who is easy to talk to and has an easy going air about her. As we chatted I learned that she loves history and is going to major in it this fall in college. She told me that initially she wanted to work somewhere like the Smithsonian, but now her dream job would be to research and check facts for movies and books. How neat is that?!  I feel like that’s such an important job! Whenever I read a book or watch a movie, I always wonder how accurately they are portraying historical events, and I’m extra impressed when they do it well!  I think that making sure the writers and directors of a movie stay as close to what actually happened historically sounds like a really unique, awesome job, and I’m so excited for her!

Jordan chose Hollins for her senior portrait location…partly because there are beautiful dark barn doors on campus and partly because it was special to her since her mom attended college there! I love it when my clients choose locations that have meaning to them or their families! It just makes the session and the images that much more special!

We finished up Jordan’s session with a few images of her in her color guard jacket with her flag, and she taught me all about color guard terminology. I had no idea there were so many different names for all the parts of the flag!

Jordan, I wish you all the best as you start this new chapter of your life this fall!

Here are my favorites from her Hollins University Senior Session!
