Well y'all, this is my last senior representative introduction for my 2017 ladies!! I'm so excited to have Kerri on board this year as an APP Senior Representative! This girl is so, so sweet, as I'm sure you'll be able to tell from her photos. We met at Hollins University for her session, which is a special place for her, because she hopes to attend college there next year!
I have fallen in love with the gorgeous Hollins campus, and I cannot believe how many beautiful little spots there are and how much character there is on that campus!
Kerri filled out her 'porch sit' questions while on vacation-- that's some dedication, right there--and I love her thoughtful, heartfelt responses!
I've said it over and over again, but these 2017 Senior Representatives are some special girls!
What are you most looking forward to about your senior year?
I'm looking forward to my last year of dance with Divine Dance Center because all of them are so near and dear to my heart I can't wait to compete with all of my dance family for my last season!
If you could have given yourself one piece of advice as a freshman, what would that advice be?
I would tell myself to focus on school and making yourself happy! A lot of toxic people will come into your life, but you have so much happiness ahead of you!
Who is someone you really look up to and why?
My role model is my mom. She has been through everything yet still puts me first! I aspire to be a mother like her one day because she is so understanding and easy to talk to! I love you with all my heart!
What is your favorite song right now?
I have a lot of favorite songs, but my favorite with a doubt is After the Storm by Mumford and Sons! An old friend of mine showed it to me a while ago, and the message behind the song is so positive! It helped me through a lot of hard times!

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
I would love to go to Rome because I would to visit the Vatican and all the history the city holds!
Have you thought about what you're going to do after high school? If so, what would you like to do?
I would like to attend Hollins University, but I don't know what I would want to study. I'm leaning towards Dance Education, so I'll probably study that if they offer it. If they don't, I'll study something related to dance and transfer to a college that does offer it!
