Oh friends! I'm so excited to finally share this project with you! I've poured so much heart and hard work into it, and I can't believe it's finally finished!! Soon I'll be sharing more about the actual branding process with the absolutely amazing Bonnie of B is for Bonnie Design, but for now, I'd like to give you a little tour of the new site!
A New Look
For my color palette I wanted to go with something neutral, elegant, classic, feminine, and southern! I also wanted something that would work for all seasons! Because I'm a milestone photographer, I shoot year round, and I wanted to make sure my 'wintery' images wouldn't look out of place on my site! Bonnie did an amazing job pulling these colors together, and I'm just in love with the dusty blues, coral, and blush! Also new is the calligraphy font you'll see on many of these pages and materials sent to my clients! I love the southern, romantic feel that the calligraphy brings to my new brand!
The pineapple
When I started the rebranding process, I knew that I wanted to keep the beautiful calligraphy hand lettered by Taylor Schumann! But, I wanted to add a little something different. I wanted to add something that had meaning and something that was southern, because I'm a southern girl through and through! That's where the pineapple comes in! It's southern, it's classic, and it's cute, but it also has so much more meaning!! My new brand is all about hospitality, and I've shared the true meaning behind that little pineapple here!
the new and improved senior experience
This one is something I'm SO excited about!!! I absolutely love my senior ladies, and I wanted to do something special for them! So, I've enhanced my senior experience a bit! AND there's even more to come in the upcoming months!! YAY! Learn more here!
New Galleries
I've updated all of my galleries, and showcased them in a new way! I wanted the images to be the main focus of my site, and I'm just thrilled with how the new galleries have turned out! You can take a peek at the new galleries by clicking the 'gallery' tab at the top of the page!
A New 'about me' page
I guess it should really be called an 'about us' page! When I was rewriting my content for this new site, I realized that my 'about me' page didn't say anything about our sweet Ellie Mae!! That's horrible, I know!!! So, this new and improved page has a special little spot for her, some things you may not know about me, and a link to follow along with our little family of 3 on Instagram and Facebook!
Porch Sits
Oh I am just giddy about this project!! 'Porch Sits' will be a new series on the blog featuring my seniors! Before each session I am going to 'interview' each of my sweet senior ladies and post their responses in their blog feature along with their gorgeous images!
I wish that I could sit on a porch with each of my senior girls in a rocking chair, a glass of sweet tea or lemonade in hand, and just chat with them about life! Some of my favorite memories are of sitting on porches chatting with friends and family! Quality time something I cherish! So, that's the heart behind this blog series...sitting down with my senior girls talking about life and getting to know them a little bit better! And I'm so excited to share that with you!
New Blog Series
