We had a warm fall day for the Puvak family’s mini session at Greenhill Park in Salem! There were SO many leaves on the ground which created a nice warm, cozy fall feel for their photos! The boys wore coordinating blues and looked precious in their stripes and plaid!
Sometimes when I work with kiddos, we encounter some camera shyness! I always assure parents that everything is going to be fine! Not all children love the camera! When I start to sense that one of my littles is beginning to feel shy, I start to play with them! We make jokes, we run around, we pick up rocks and sand and leaves…anything to make the experience fun...anything that will distract him or her from the fact that I'm snapping away! ;) And you know what, I often come away with some of my FAVORITE candid images from these types of sessions!

When we arrived Caroline let me know that her husband was going to try his best to make it to the session, but had some important things going on at work. We were just about to wrap things up when this little guy’s daddy arrived, and his reaction was priceless!! He was SO excited!! I just love little moments like these!
